Women's representation of Macedonia U19: Two control matches against Cyprus

The  women's national team of Macedonia under 19 will play two control matches against the corresponding representation of Cyprus.

The control duels will be played at the stadium of FC Turnovo, in Turnovo.

We will play the first match on September 4 at 4:30 p.m., while the second control match is scheduled for September 6, at 4:30 p.m.

The head coach of the women's representation of Macedonia, Astrit Merko decided to call the following football players:

Goalkeepers: Berna Kabakci (Bergh, Netherlands), Kristina Pavloska (Kul);

Defense: Edina Suleimani (Ac United), Sara Eftindzioska (Despina), Mia Golovska (Skopje), Matea Blazeska (Skopje), Efimija Tsuneva (Tiveria);

Midfielders: Kristina Mojsoska (Ac United), Radica Velkova (Tiveria), Era Stebleva (Ac United), Michaela Nastevska (Despina), Sara Mena (Ac United), Iva Zdraveska (Cool), Nikita Stojchevska (Rosengard, Sweden);

Attack: Ivana Kuzmanoski (England), Eda Dalipi (Ac United), Laura Suleimani (GPSO 92, France), Biljana Paneska (Tiberia), Vesa Sela (Ac United), Jehona Veliu (Grasshopper, Switzerland), Aina Iseini (Zurich Frauen , Switzerland), Simona Meyer (Cool);

The gathering of the women's national team of Macedonia U19 years old will be at the Istatov Hotel, Nov Dojran, in the period from September 1 to 7.

Astrit Merko, head coach of the Macedonian U19 national team:

"These preparations and control matches against Cyprus are of great importance, we need to work hard this week, all in order to prepare as well as possible for the qualifiers that await us in October. I hope that at this meeting and the qualifications in October I will be able to have the best squad available.

Cyprus is a great opponent, we know their qualities well, last year we managed to celebrate a victory over them with 4:2 in Belarus. I expect that we will gradually raise our form, I believe that in October we will be fully prepared and in the best team for the qualifications."
