Macedonia achieved a historic victory against Italy, the current European champions, in the third confrontation after celebrating with 1: 0 in Palermo in the semifinals of the qualifying round in Qatar.
Italy dominated, but did not use their chances, and that was punished by Aleksandar Trajkovski in the 92nd minute. In the final of the World Cup qualifier, Macedonia will play Portugal in Porto on Tuesday, after their win tonight and celebrated against Turkey with 3: 1.
