The young national team of Macedonia under 21 arrived in Busum, on the eve of the qualifying match against the Netherlands, which will be played at the Janmar Stadium, Almere, on Thursday, September 5, starting at 8 p.m.

In the first mutual duel of these two selections within the second round of the qualifying group, the Netherlands in Skopje managed to score a victory of 2:0.

The football player of Shkendija and a standard member of the young national team, Vane Krstevski shared his expectations before the matches with the Netherlands and Gibraltar.

- We are at the beginning of the season, this period is always hard, but we are in good shape as far as the physical part is concerned. We are ready to give our maximum in these matches.

- If we want to achieve a positive result and play a good match against the favorite in the group, we must all play tactically perfectly together, be sacrificed and fight throughout the match.

- In the match in Skopje, against the Netherlands, we played a great game, with a good game, a lot of fighting and running. We found ourselves in several great situations to score a goal, but the execution was not up to par. And in the last matches, it was seen that we had the biggest problem with the implementation. We created many chances, but we did not score goals. We learned a great lesson from that meeting, I hope that in Almere we will play a duel that will be in our favor.

- We want to play the last matches in these qualifications at a high level and show that this selection has quality.

Within Group C of the European Championship qualifiers, so far, the Netherlands is in the top position with 21 points, while Macedonia is in the fifth position with 6 points won.

Four days after the match with the Netherlands, we will compete against the Gibraltar national team.
