The Macedonian U18 team won the qualifying match with 2:0 against the team from Azerbaijan that was played at the “House of Football” complex in Macedonia.

Our team had a great start, where in the first minute of the match Petar Petkovski scored a goal which led to our lead with 1:0. Our team had a couple more great chances at scoring in the first half, but we were unable to use them. Georgiev Boban missed a great shot from the 16 meter box and hit the pitch. In the second half, Kochovski Valentin scored a shot at 77’ which finalized the end result. The Azerbaijan team received a Red Card at the match, where Madatov Mahir was sent off at 74’ due to a second Yellow Card. The Macedonian team was a far better opponent and deserved to win.
