The Macedonian A national team had the first defeat in the qualifiers for the European Championship. Ukraine celebrated with a big turnaround in Skopje with 3-2.
We played two completely different halves, a flawless first and a poor second which contributed to us going scoreless in the end. We dominated in the first 45 minutes, a period in which we scored two goals through Bardi from a penalty and Elmas who masterfully checked Trubin.
Everything was good for us until the opponent's first goal through Zabarnji in the 62nd minute. From that moment we started to fall and already in 67 it was 2-2 with Konoplja's goal.
In the 73rd minute, we were left without Musliu, who received a second yellow card, an advantage that Rebrov's players took advantage of in the 83rd minute through Tsiganov with a header.
Our selection now awaits a difficult visit to England at Old Trafford. The English beat Malta 4-0.
