The Mayor of Municipality of Bitola, Dr. Vladimir Taleski and the President of Football Federation of Macedonia, Ilcho Gjorgioski, signed a mutual contract for the reconstruction of the Football Stadium, which includes placing new natural grass as well as placing new flood lighting.

This was a part of the UEFA “Het Trick Four” program that enables placing natural grass that corresponds to the UEFA standards. Last week, a representative from UEFA made a professional analysis of the field and is going to give directions about the reconstructions and the placement of the flood lights.

This project which is funded by UEFA is worth 800.000 Euros. Dr. Taleski said that the rest of the reconstruction will be held by the Municipality of Bitola.

Dr. Vladimir Taleski stated: “The stadium in Bitola is very significant to us, we are very pleased that it became a priority to The Football Federation of Macedonia. The reconstruction and electrification of the stadium is a major improvement in the mutual partnership with FFM. We also have another project to reconstruct the stadium for 12.000 seats, these days we are expecting companies to show their interest for the reconstruction, and later we are going to announce a proposal for public private partnership.”

This afternoon in the sports hall “Mladost” in Bitola, The Municipality of Bitola and FFM are going to organize a football match and a concert, and the money raised will be donated to charity.
