The Macedonian Football Federation held its Regular General Assembly for 2022.

At the Regular General Assembly in Skopje, the present delegates adopted the president's report and the FFM Executive board for the year 2021.

The federation's top body adopted the final bill for last year and the federation's  budget for the year of 2022 and the independent auditor's report was adopted.

Assembly delegates unanimously adopted changes to the MFL competition system for 2022/2023 for a single Second League, and adopted the FFM's general strategy, United of Football 2021-2025 and Macedonia's women's strategy 2021-2025.

The working part of today's Regular FFM Assembly was followed by representatives of UEFA and FIFA. Dennis Bastari, a representative of the National Associations department, represented UEFA, while Charles Borman was FIFA's representative from the National Associations.

- Congratulations on the successes of last year, successes both on and off the field. This is a nice opportunity to emphasize the strong friendship and co-operation between FIFA and FFM. You are a step with FIFA and together we are  contributing to the development of the sport we all love. FIFA is proud of the many joint projects we are implementing under the FIFA forward programme. We are especially happy that the financial resources are being invested for development, especially the key component, which is infrastructure. Congratulations on the publication of the new strategy, as well as the strategy for women's football, can be considered by FIFA's continued support for achieving the goals set. Also be proud of the hard work and work you've put in in the past years starting from amateur to highest level. Only in this way can the greatest successes be achieved, and proof of this was Macedonia's performance at the 2020 European Championship and the placement in the play- offs on the World Championship, FIFA representative Charles Bottman said in his address.

- I would like to point out how much has been done in the part of the development of football, through the construction of football infrastructure, pitches and stadiums and confirmed the great professionalism in your projects. Together with you, and of course in coordination with FIFA and UEFA, we are working in close co-operation for the new statute, a document that will be a new additional step for better governance and new regulations. Soon we will be delivering the draft versions.

The best example of your commitment is the Euro 2020 performance for the first time, a success close to a miracle, but your placement in the World C. play-offs is also a miracle. In 12 days from now, you will play the European champion for the WC. I want you to continue with the good work although it is really difficult to talk about football at times like this. For several years, football and the world have not lived in a normal situation, first with Covid-19, and now a few weeks ago war broke out in the heart of Europe. We are heartbroken by the pain of what is happening in Ukraine. We as UEFA are ready to do everything possible to do to finish this, and everyone has shown solidarity. I would like to thank FFM for supporting any UEFA decision and for any decision on European football, noted UEFA's Denis Bastari.
