The young national team of Macedonia continued training today after yesterday's triumph over the corresponding selection of Finland within the international control tournament "Antalya Cup 2023".

On March 28, the last control duel awaits us against the selection of Slovakia, which hosts the 2025 European Championship for footballers under 21 years of age. 

The excellent football player of Rabotnicki and the national team of Macedonia under the age of 21, Stefan Despotovski, gave his assessment of the matches played so far by our young football players in Belek, Turkey.

"I'm really happy that I managed to fit into the team quickly and perfectly." I feel as if I have been a part of this national team for years. I function very well with everyone, there is a great energy between us players. We work hard and maximally in all trainings, we are happy and motivated. We listen to the advises of the coach, he has a clear idea of ​​how we should play, we try our best in all matches and trainings to play what is required of us. We are ready to fight and prove ourselves. We want to show our worth.

We didn't have our day against Latvia. We dominated throughout the game, but due to our mistakes we allowed three goals. We managed to quickly consolidate our ranks, we proved that in the duel with the strong Finnish national team. We played a solid game, with a lot of fight, sacrifice and running. Thanks to that approach, we ended up winning that tough match.

There is still the last match against Slovakia in this preparatory period. We want to play another quality match and conclude these preparations in Belek with a victory."
