Payment of prize money by the Financial Fair Play of UEFA

In compliance with a decision of the Executive Board of UEFA regarding the Financial Fair Play program, the Football Federation of Macedonia transferred prize money to 4 Macedonian football clubs that played at the qualifiers for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League for the season 2013/2014.

These funds were raised by the UEFA prize funds which were taken due to noncompliance with the regulations of the Financial Fair Play. 80% of the total funds were equally divided and transferred to the clubs that played in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, while 20% were transferred to the clubs that were eliminated during the qualification matches of the same tournaments.

These are the Macedonian clubs that played at the qualifiers for the elite round for season 2013/2014:

  • FK Vardar (UEFA Champions League qualifiers)
  • FK Turnovo (UEFA Europa League qualifiers)
  • FK Teteks (UEFA Europa League qualifiers)
  • FK Metalurg (UEFA Europa League qualifiers)

Each of these clubs were rewarded the same amount of 30.790,00,
