The Macedonian A national team will play the last match of the group in the League of Nations against the Faroe Islands tomorrow from 15:00 at the "Todor Proeski" National Arena.
At the official press conference before the match, the coach of our national team, Blagoja Milevski, and striker Aleksandar Trajkovski shared their expectations with the journalists.
Blagoja Milevski - head coach of the Macedonian A national team:
Faroe Islands have shown that there are no outsiders in today's football and they are a quality team. They play it well in these League of Nations, it's about a disciplined team, responsible and quite strong, very well prepared for racing. An even more difficult match awaits us than the one with Latvia on Thursday. Our focus is on ourselves, how we will look on the field and to finish this edition in the best possible way. The issue of first place has been resolved, but we have our own motives, individually and as a team. We set ourselves another goal, with as many points as possible to be more competitive in the final ranking. After the last match, fatigue is present, considering that they ran a lot and we played a hard match. An additional problem is the ground, which is not in a shiny condition. We have reached the last step and I think the guys will give the last atom of their strength to show character, so we can close the year with a win. Regarding the lineup, I hope that everyone will stay healthy, so apart from Elmas, we won't be missing anyone. There will be certain changes in the game and the team".
Aleksandar Trajkovski - representative of Macedonia:
"There is a little fatigue because we play two games in three days, but it is not the first time we have this kind of rhythm. We always want to give our best and our goal is to end this edition of the Nations League with a win. We need to be focused and if we give our maximum, I think we can achieve the goal and three points".
