Tomorrow, the Macedonian national football team continues its performances in the League of Nations with the match against Latvia in Riga. Our national team enters this match as the favorite, and this was emphasized by the head coach Blagoja Milevski at today's press conference.

BLAGOJA MILEVSKI - head coach of the Macedonian A national team:

"Latvia has maximum respect from us, but the concentration is on our game and how we will look on the field. I emphasize that Macedonia will be asking for the first place in the group.

We will miss Zajkov and Serafimov, who have cards, but also Churlinov and Trajkovski, who are injured. However, everyone who is in the mix for the performance will rise to the challenge and what is expected of them.

I am thinking about more options for the starting team, I believe that everyone else will be healthy and put into the function of the team. Before the start of the match, I will decide which players we will play with."

"The Macedonia that I imagine will always strive to play for victory." These guys get and deserve all the respect. Regardless of whether they play in their clubs or not, they give their maximum when they play for Macedonia.

Pressure gives us the motivation to compete with ourselves and see where our limits are. When someone expects something big from you, it means that you are worth it. "Today, if you don't have the right approach, you won't beat weaker opponents even if you play at your best."

The captain of the Macedonian national team Enis Bardi shares the optimism of the selector Blagoja Milevski ahead of tomorrow's match against Latvia in the third round of the League of Nations.

Bardi was part of Macedonia's previous match against Latvia in September 2019 in the qualifiers for the European Championship. Our captain scored in a 2:0 win in Riga.

ENIS BARDI - captain of the Macedonian A national team:

"As always, the responsibility lies with all of us. I will give my best, so God grant it will be like five years ago. The flu has passed, I feel good and I am fully prepared for the performance.

When you play under pressure to prove, you always bring out the maximum quality. We should always feel the pressure and we should find a way to give our best."
