The Macedonian A national team is preparing for the qualifying match for EP 2024 against Ukraine on June 16 (Friday) at the National Arena "Todor Proeski" in Skopje.

Before the start of the afternoon training, the representatives of the national team, Milan Ristovski and Agon Elezi, spoke to the journalists.

Milan Ristovski:

- "The atmosphere is great, we are all motivated when we are in the national jersey, we want to make a new success and I am convinced that we will fight for it together. "Ukraine is a strong national team with players who play in big clubs, but we are playing at home, we expect support from the audience and I believe we can achieve a positive result."

- "We played against Ukraine at the European Championship, but I think this will be a completely different game, although of course we will use certain analyzes from that match between us. In this phase of the preparations, we are mostly based on tactical things, we are regaining our freshness and I hope that we will answer the tasks of the selector as much as possible".

Agon Elezi:

- "The energy in training is at a high level, even though it is the end of the season. However, it is proof of how motivated we are, how healthy and positive the atmosphere in the team is. We must be positive and believe. We do not expect an extremely strong match with a national team that has a new coach and probably additional momentum for a positive result."

- "I must say that we are training very well, we feel good. All of that should be carried over to the game. We are aware of what awaits us, Ukraine is a quality team and it will not be easy, but we are ready. Everything is possible and we will do our best. We hope for a positive result."
