The young national team of Macedonia under 16 lost with 2: 1 against Montenegro in the first control duel played between these two teams at the training center in Podgorica.

Macedonia opened the match better, a great free kick by Andrej Velkov in the 13th minute for a 1: 0. In the first part, we missed a great opportunity through Islami to increase the lead. We were a better opponent than Montenegro and deservedly left at halftime with a minimal advantage.

In the continuation of the match, the host made a complete turnaround, scored two goals and managed to celebrate a 2: 1 victory. Montenegro scored the winning goal in the last moments of the match, after a carelessness of our defense.
