The national team of Macedonia under 21 has arrived in Antalya and today they will start the preparations for the upcoming three control matches against the representations of Latvia (March 23), Finland (March 25) and Slovakia (March 28).

Our young selection will give the maximum of this preparatin period, in order to better preparation for the beginning of the qualification for the 2025 European Championship.

- The control matches in Antalya are an excellent opportunity to prepare better for the challenge that awaits us in September, i.e. the beginning of the qualification for the European Championship. As for the qualification group itself, it is clear that nowadays there are no easy opponents, but this group of our football players has great quality and togetherness, we have high expectations, we want to achieve something big and win a place in the European Championship. We have a series of positive results in the last matches, which gives us additional motivation that we can play good qualifiers.

- We are going step by step, we don't expect a lot of work until the start of the qualifiers, right now it is most important to use this preparation period in Antalya in the best possible way, to improve our game so that we can be as ready as possible to welcome the start of the qualifiers.

- We are playing the first match in Antalya against Latvia, a team with tall and strong football players who play quite difficult football. We are a better selection than them, but we will have to show it on the field. I hope that we will continue with the great game and the positive series of results.

- The atmosphere in the team itself is excellent, we know each other very well, considering that most of the players were also part of the Macedonian U19 national team

- I am convinced that with great sacrifice, struggle and desire to outplay we can achieve good results.
