The Macedonian  national team U21 continues with the preparations before the start of the control international tournament "Antalya Cup 2023"

Our young footballers did two trainings today, the focus is on the first control match against the Latvian national team, which is scheduled for March 23.

The defensive player of Žilina and a standard member of the young Macedonian national team, Andrej Stojchevski, gave his opinion and expectation for the upcoming matches.

- The whole team is very satisfied with the training conditions we have here in Belek, we work hard and have excellent preparations. I want to praise the great energy and atmosphere that reigns in this national team, most of the players have been playing together for several years and know each other very well, we function as one family, we all know very well the value of the shirt with the national coat of arms and we are ready for a great fight and sacrifice in order to achieve excellent results.

- We are playing the first control match against the difficult representations of Latvia, as in every match, we are attacking for victory in this one as well. I am sure that each of us will give the maximum and I believe that we will succeed in winning, in order to continue the positive series of results.

- The qualification cycle starts in September, we have enough time to  prepare better for the first match with Sweden. The winning mentality that must be present in all of us will play a key role in the qualifications. We have great quality and I believe we will show it in the upcoming qualifiers.
