The young national team of Macedonia under 21 recorded a safe and convincing victory against the corresponding selection of Malta within the last control test before the start of the qualifications for the European Championship.
At the "Petar Milosevski" training center in Skopje, the selected players of the selector Dragi Kanatlarovski played an excellent match, defeating the opponent with a convincing 4:0.
Our young footballers went on the offensive from the very start, in order to open the scoring as soon as possible. There were dangerous situations in front of Malta's goal from the start. Metodi Maksimov had the first opportunity of the match. Mario Ilievski and Alex Zlatkov also found themselves in good situations to score a goal. We crowned the better game with a goal in the 10th minute through Hamza Ramani for a 1:0 advantage. Dimitar Todorovski made it 2:0 in the 16th minute.In the continuation of the match, the Macedonian national team continued with the dominant and reliable game. The opponent was powerless to counter our well-set play. We crowned the better game by scoring two more goals in the second half. Andrej Stojchevski scored in the 53rd minute to increase the score to 3:0. The final 4:0 was set by Luan Abazi in the 86th minute of the match, continuing the goal-scoring streak in the Macedonian jersey.
