Nejat Shabani, the head coach of the Macedonian under-19 national team, shared his expectations for the qualifying tournament in Skopje.

 - In the period for preparation, we faced great difficulties regarding the playing staff. In most of the warm-up games, we were weakened by not playing our best players.

- The qualification tournament we are hosting is a great opportunity for football players to show all their potential and quality.

- The group is difficult, the opponents are quite strong, but if we want to play football at a high level and achieve a positive result, the players will have to give their best.

- A big disadvantage is that we will not have Gujufi available for this qualifying tournament due to an injury. Of the called players, all are available, except the goalkeeper Vasilev.

- I hope that my players will respond well to this challenge. I expect us to play good football, with great desire and sacrifice. Football is a team sport, nowadays there are no easy opponents, let the best win.

The meeting of the Macedonian under-19 national team is scheduled for November 13 (Sunday), at 12:00.
