The young national team of Macedonia under 14 played the first of two control matches against the corresponding selection of Malta.

At the "Petar Milosevski" training center, the players selected by the coach Dragan Nachevski deservedly scored a victory with 1:0.

Our young footballers were better than Malta throughout the match, they created dangerous opportunities in front of the opponent's goal, the victory could have been more convincing in the end.

Erdin Mammootty scored the winning goal for our young national team in the 73rd minute.

Macedonia and Malta will play another control match on May 11 starting at 2 p.m
