Macedonia recorded a minimal defeat against Saudi Arabia with 1:0 at the control match in Abu Dhabi

The national team of Macedonia lost minimally with 1:0 against the representation of Saudi Arabia in the control duel played in Abu Dhabi.

In the first half, we saw a tactical fight, mainly in the middle of the field, without serious threats on the both nets.

In the 17th minute of the match, a good opportunity for Saudi Arabia. After a well performed corner, Alabed hit with his head, but goalkeeper Naumovski made an excellent intervention.

In the first 45 minutes, Macedonia threatened after the opponent's goal through Hasani and Doriev.

In the second half, Macedonia was the first to threaten the goal after Saudi Arabia's goal. Velkovski sent an excellent long ball to Doriev, who managed to find Maksimov at the second post, but the kick of the Rabotnicki footballer was blocked by an opposing player.

In the 53rd minute, Abdulrahman Alhamdan hit a great shot from 20 meters, another good intervention by Naumoski.

In the 67th minute, Exzon Beitulai sent a great ball to Doriev, the goalkeeper of Saudi Arabia intervened before our footballer sent a shot, and prevented  a clear chance for Macedonia.

In the 85th minute, the Saudi Arabian national team took a 1:0 lead. The goal scorer was Khalid Saleh Khalid Alshehri.

The representation of Macedonia was damaged for two penalties in one action. In the first attempt, Stojanovski was blocked and dragged by the opponent, and in the continuation of the action, a player of Saudi Arabia returned the ball with his hand from the goal line, after Trapanovski's shot.
