The Macedonian national team found out the rivals in the qualifying cycle for the European Championship 2024 in Germany.

Macedonia will play in group C with the last finalists from the European Championship 2020, Italy and England. In our group is Ukraine, and from the last drum we got the representation of Malta.

GROUP C: Italy, England, Ukraine, Macedonia, Malta

Macedonia is hoping for a second consecutive appearance, after the one at EURO 2020. In the previous qualifiers, our team finished in third place and played in a group with the national teams of Poland, Austria, Slovenia, Israel and Latvia.

The leader of the Macedonian representation, Blagoja Milevski announced a great football challenge for the national team.

"Football challenge for all of us. We got the toughest group possible. Probably, if we had chosen ourselves, we would not have been able to choose stronger opponents. But we are already used to this kind of luck. We got the finalists from the last European Championship and absolute favorites for the first two places in the group. It goes without saying that we will look for our chance and try to remain competitive until the very end, and the objective circumstances will show whether we can hope for a high ranking. The group is hellishly tough, and so will the matches. It is up to us to believe in ourselves," said Milevski.
