The Football Federation of Macedonia has officially launched the General Strategy "United by Football 2021-2025“.

The creation of the strategy was guided by our responsibility to make football a factor that contributes to the Macedonian society and to point out the benefits that it brings. By choosing this approach we are aiming to a brighter future, instilling pride and uniting the nation through football. 

The Strategy "United by Football" is an exciting new direction for football in Macedonia. Thanks to the success of the A National Team as an inspiration for change, our operation for the future is structured through seven strategic goals. 

The implementation will have its challenges, but we are determined to stay dedicated out of the pitch, just as our players are on it.

The President of FFM, Muamed Sejdini and the General Secretary Filip Popovski addressed to the media and football officials at the official launch of the new FFM Strategy.

Muamed Sejdini - FFM President:

- Now that we are fulfilling our strategic football goals and interest we can turn our focus to the future that we all want for Macedonian football. 

I take the liberty to speak to you directly, not just in the name of the values that unite us, but moreover because we have managed to demonstrate that together we can achieve what many thought that is unreachable - the World Cup play-offs, the building of the football infrastructure, support of our clubs and academies. 

Despite of the difficulties out of the pitch, with the pressure imposed by the pandemics that lead to unseen isolation on a global level, our football family stayed connected as never before. The pride born by our first ever EURO appearance could be recognized through the whole country and it's clear that the desire to build on this success is uniting the whole nation.

- Looking towards the future, with the aim to build on this success we have to remember that the National Teams that brought us this pride represent the iceberg of our work and are a result of years of dedication - from playing on the street in our neighborhoods, all the way up to their representation on the global scene.

- During the process of developing a new path forward for FFM, we are proud of the fantastic engagement and contribution that we received from the whole football family in the shaping of the future plans.

Throughout the strategic discussions, supported by UEFA GROW, we were honored to welcome the players, coaches, referees, supporters, club representatives and potential partners and to improve our planning direction in order to pave the best pathway for even greater success as a football nation.

We are aware that in line with the ambitions of this strategy we cannot achieve the goals alone. Our success will depend on the degree to which we will upgrade our current levels of cooperation and enthusiasm, together with all of our partners.
