The 46th regular UEFA Congress was held in Vienna, which was attended by a delegation of the Football Federation of Macedonia.

Increased funding for the Hat-trick development program was, among other things, on the agenda.

The Football Federation of Macedonia was represented by President Muamed Sejdini and General Secretary Filip Popovski.

At a congress in the Austrian capital, the European Football Association significantly increased the amount of funds allocated for the development of football on the old continent.

Between 2024 and 2028, each National Federation will have € 17 million available for education and development programs, such as social responsibility programs, training of coaches and referees, and funding for football infrastructure. Since the start of the Hat-trick program in 2004, 2.5 billion euros have been invested in European football.

Significant progress in women's football in Europe was presented at the Congress, especially in anticipation for the upcoming European Championship in England.

The reports of the President of UEFA and the Executive Board, as well as the UEFA administration for the competition season 2020/2021, the financial reports for the same period and the budget for the financial year 2022/2023 were adopted.  This Congress has ratified the election of new members of UEFA. The next one is scheduled for April 5, 2023 in Lisbon.
