The national team of Macedonia U21 is in Skopje, where they are intensively preparing for the challenge that awaits them within the qualification cycle for the European Championship 2023 in Romania and Georgia.
The goalkeeper of Stip Bregalnica and one of our best individuals in this qualification cycle, David Denkovski shared his expectations for the upcoming matches against Armenia and Ukraine in Group X of the qualifications.
'' We train and work hard, the atmosphere in the team is good. The last two matches of this qualification cycle are waiting for us, which we will play with special emotions. We want to finish our story as it should, with victories and leave a good impression for the end. For me and for most players born in 2001 this will be the last cycle in the U21 representation. I hope that the next generations will be able to achieve greater success than us. We play the first match against Armenia at home, we are completely focused on that match, we want to win because we play in front of our fans and families. "The last match of the qualifiers we play against Ukraine, it is a good and quality national team with great individuals, but we want to achieve a good result in that match as well."
