On December 17, 2024, a workshop on the financial criteria in the club licensing process was held at the House of Football, which was organized with the aim of informing and educating all entities involved in the club licensing process.

The workshop was held in the presence of financial directors, accountants and auditors who are part of the clubs applying for a license.

The aim of the workshop was to provide detailed information and practical guidance on how clubs can meet the financial criteria required for a successful club license application. Attendees had the opportunity to review the latest rules and regulations relating to the financial stability, transparency and sustainability of clubs.

Basics of financial criteria for club licensing:

An overview of the key financial standards that clubs must meet, such as liquidity, profitability and a sustainable financial structure

Regulations for financial reports and documents:

A detailed review of the financial documents required with the license application, including annual reports, audits, and other relevant reports.

Overview of the most common financial mistakes and problems:

Analysis of the most common errors that occur when preparing financial statements and how they can be avoided.

Presentation of audit and control systems:

How clubs can implement better financial control and audit processes to meet licensing requirements.

The workshop consisted of a theoretical part, where participants were introduced to the legal framework and regulations, and attendees had the opportunity to discuss these topics. This interactive format allowed for closer communication between participants and experts, which significantly improved the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The workshop was of great importance to the participants, who received practical advice and recommendations for improving the financial management of clubs. The attendees agreed that the biggest challenge for clubs is to meet the financial criteria, especially in times of economic challenges.

The Licensing Department of the FFM announced that workshops of this type will continue in the future, in order to provide support to clubs applying for a club license and exchange knowledge and experiences.
